Documents granted in Portuguese territory during the 12th century contain several references to the pre-national morabitino. One of the cartularies that provides more details of the circumstances under which this coin was used is the Liber fidei of Braga Cathedral. The aim of this study is to provide information about some of the uses and values assigned to this coin.
