LISBON TRIENS
Lisbon was one of the cities in the province of Lusitania where gold coins were minted during Visigoth times. This coin, known as a triens, was minted during the reign of Reccaredus I and is considered to be the only example. This study presents the piece and sets it in its historical framework of reference, highlighting its dimensions and typological characteristics.
