Fernão De Magalhães. The Man Who Became a Planet

This is the story of the most famous Portuguese ever. With the name Magalhães (Magellan), two galaxies were named, a NASA space probe that traveled to Venus, a Mars crater, a strait between two oceans, a pioneering GPS system, a computer model, a bay, and a type of penguin - Not to mention the many places and ships of reality and fiction! Why such a celebrity? Because, now 500 years ago, Fernão de Magalhães planned and led the craziest expedition of all time: the one that traveled for the first time around the world.

To mark such an important anniversary, the Casa da Moeda (Portuguese Mint) launches four commemorative coins, and also this book.
